"Born to a Quincy family in Germany in the 10th century ( 900s ) , Quilge was the eldest son of four children . His father , a Quincy , servant during the last era of the Licht Reich empire , and hunter-knight to a German royal court , had married a fellow Quincy woman . Quilge's mother was as equally intense & well-trained as her husband , a woman-knight and daughter of a royal executioner , and the two had raised their four children as their own pack of war hounds. Qylge , Dolere, Wylm , Sorga .Qylge ( later known as Quilge ) , the eldest child , was thusly trained the most & treated as their favored child. He had since learned to hunt & how to kill , from his father , at a very young age . His mother , on the other hand , had taught him how to torment & how to wrench pain out of his enemies , as well . She had called him her " dungeon child, " keeping him inside of the royal court's dungeons to practice his skills . in his youth, when Quilge wasn't practicing hunting in the forest, he was practicing torture. And, later, in his teenaged years , the young man had gone on to become a royal torturer's apprentice .Over the years , Quilge's bloodthirst had only grew . His rivalty with his siblings were intensely magnified . He would not allow them to win , were they to host any contests . Quilge would always aim for the most impressive , dangerous kills , when it had came to hunting . Any beast he had chased after , he made sure to kill dead .It was then that the Opie family had finally unveiled their true purpose . Raising their children not only for war, but to become a Sternritter. an honored position in the empire of the Licht Reich , the parents proposed a ritualistic Hunt . whoever had survived the Hunt would go on to become a Sternritter and serve their Emperor , Yhwach . This outcome , brutal and intense and bloody , as it was , was Quilge, who had slaughtered his entire family for that chance of greatness , to become what he deemed a holy angel . Impressing his Emperor with his bloodlust and thirst for violence , as well as his intense desire for the hunt , Quilge was deemed the new Jaegermeister for the Empire , leaving his family long behind him ."
